North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Lenoir over North Pitt

The North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) volleyball overcame the host North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, North Lenoir upgrades its record to 14-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to face the Stallions in a East Central 2A outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Stallions go into the outing with a record of 5-11. Southwest Onslow lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC)

The Panthers now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to SouthWest Edgecombe for a Eastern Plains 2A outing on Thursday, September 28. North Pitt will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-12.
