Texas High School Football - Americas prevails Parkland

September 27, 2024: El Paso, TX 79924

In Friday's league match, the visiting Americas Trail Blazers football squad scored a good 56-44 triumph over the Parkland Matadors.

The Trail Blazers (1-3) will now prepare for their match against El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs come into the 5A-1 Region I District 1 match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, El Dorado defeated Bel Air (El Paso, TX), 49-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Matadors meet the Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 1 match, on Friday, October 4. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Highlanders come into the match with a 0-5 record after their 49-14 league loss to El Dorado (El Paso, TX).
