Chandler Lions (Chandler, OK) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK), 49-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Chandler advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Metro Christian (Tulsa, OK) to encounter the Patriots in a 2A-I District 4 battle on Friday, October 4. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Metro Christian won 48-7 in their recent league battle against Dewey (Dewey, OK)

The Indians now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Dewey for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. Sequoyah will encounter a Bulldoggers team coming off a 48-7 league loss to Metro Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Bulldoggers record now stands at 0-4.
