The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX) and the visiting Eagle Pass Eagles (Eagle Pass, TX), witnessed Medina Valley's football squad edge Eagle Pass by a tally of 28-21.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX). The Wolves enter the 6A Region IV District 30 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Laredo LBJ was nipped by Del Rio (Del Rio, TX), 27-21, in a league outing.
