The Mount Anthony Patriots football team (Bennington, VT), was crushed 35-0 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT)

With the win, Hartford advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Hurricanes host Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT) to encounter the Terriers in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 3. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Bellows Falls won 14-7 in their recent league bout against Fair Haven (Fair Haven, VT)

The Patriots now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rice Memorial for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. Mount Anthony will encounter a Green Knights team coming off a 40-0 non-league win over Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Green Knights record now stands at 5-0.
