Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Watervliet Cannoneers (Watervliet, NY), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Lansingburgh advances its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY) to clash with the Riders in a Colonial Council test on Thursday, October 3. The Riders come into the test with a record of 2-5.

The Cannoneers now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Catskill for a Patroon test on Tuesday, October 1. Watervliet will clash with a Cats team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Cats record now stands at 2-0.
