The Vergennes Commodores (Vergennes, VT) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT), 10-1 in Friday's league challenge.
The Commodores now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Mt. Abraham for a Lake challenge on Wednesday, October 2. Vergennes will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Milton (Milton, VT). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
