The Lincoln High Links softball squad (Lincoln, NE), was routed 16-5 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Benson Bunnies (Omaha, NE)

With the triumph, Benson improves its record to 2-12 on the year. The Bunnies host Burke (Omaha, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a A District contest on Tuesday, October 1. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 0-16. Burke lost 7-0 in their recent non-league contest against South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE)

The Links now hold a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Omaha North for a non-league contest on Friday, September 27. Lincoln High will face a Vikings squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 1-15.
