In Friday's league challenge, the visiting North Mesquite Stallions volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Adams Cougars.

The Stallions (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Wranglers come into the 5A Region II District 14 challenge with a 9-17 record. In their last challenge, West Mesquite beat Seagoville (Dallas, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Adams will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX).
