In Friday's league match, the Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) volleyball squad overcame the host Richards School for Young Women Leaders (Austin, TX), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Bastrop Bears (Bastrop, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 match, on Tuesday, October 1. Anderson will attempt to move on its 18-9 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 13-17 record after their 3-0 league win over Crockett (Austin, TX).
