Texas High School Volleyball - Arlington tips Lamar

The Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX) volleyball held off the visiting Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX), 3-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Colts now possess a 16-15 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Prairie for a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, October 1. Arlington will clash with a Gophers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Sam Houston (Arlington, TX). The Gophers record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Lamar drops to 13-17 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bowie (Arlington, TX) to clash with the Volunteers in a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Volunteers come into the bout with a record of 9-9. Bowie lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Haltom (Haltom City, TX)
