In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Venice Gondoliers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Beverly Hills Normans.

The Gondoliers (24-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Mariners come into the non-league challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, St. Monica was beaten by Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Normans meet the Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA) in a Ocean challenge, on Friday, September 27. Beverly Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA).
