In Friday's league challenge, the host Hamilton Bobcats volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the California Military Institute Rough Riders.

The Bobcats (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School (Temecula, CA). The Mustangs come into the South Valley challenge with a 4-7 record.

Next, the Rough Riders play the Nuview Bridge Knights (Nuevo, CA) in a South Valley challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. California Military Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Temecula Prep (Winchester, CA).
