With the win, Danbury improves its record to 14-14 on the season. The Panthers travel to Evadale (Evadale, TX) to face the Rebels in a 2A Region III District 24 test on Tuesday, October 1. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 5-12. Evadale lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Woodville (Woodville, TX)

The Oilers now own a 15-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deweyville for a 2A Region III District 24 test on Tuesday, October 1. West Hardin will face a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 6-10.
