Sparrows Point Pointers (Baltimore, MD) supporters were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team top the host Dundalk Owls (Baltimore, MD), 3-1 in a non-league contest.

The Pointers (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Western Tech & Environmental Science (Baltimore, MD). The Wolverines enter the Baltimore County 2A/1A contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Western Tech & Environmental Science notched a victory over Franklin (Reisterstown, MD), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Owls meet the Loch Raven Raiders (Towson, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 30. Dundalk will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record.
