In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Valley Central Vikings volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Goshen Central Gladiators.

The Vikings (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Warriors come into the Section 9 Orange County II challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Minisink Valley lost by John Jay (Hopewell Junction, NY), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators play the Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Goshen Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY).
