The Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) volleyball were victorious over the host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs (New Orleans, LA), 3-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Scholastica for a Division II District 6 bout on Tuesday, October 1. Salmen will clash with a Doves team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Doves record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host John Ehret (Marrero, LA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, September 30. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 13-5. John Ehret won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against South Plaquemines (Buras, LA)
