In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Tri-County RVT Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Old Colony RVT Cougars.

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Hills RVT (Canton, MA). The Warriors enter the Mayflower-Large challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Blue Hills RVT was beaten by Bristol County Agricultural (Dighton, MA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Upper Cape Cod RVT Rams (Bourne, MA) in a Mayflower-Small challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Old Colony RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bristol County Agricultural (Dighton, MA).
