Texas High School Volleyball - Pleasanton over Pearsall

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX) and the visiting Pearsall Mavericks (Pearsall, TX), observed Pleasanton's volleyball team top Pearsall by a tally of 3-0.

The Eagles (17-13) will now prepare for their contest against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers enter the 4A Region IV District 27 contest with a 23-7 record. In their last contest, Floresville beat Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Mavericks meet the Devine Warhorses (Devine, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 27 contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Pearsall will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Warhorses enter the contest with a 13-20 record after their 3-0 league win over Somerset (Somerset, TX).
