In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Wakefield School Fighting Owls .

The Yellow Jackets (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA). The Falcons come into the Greater Piedmont challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, King Abdullah Academy was nudged by Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Owls meet the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) in a Greater Piedmont challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Wakefield School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Quantico (Quantico, VA).
