In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Roosevelt Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles.

The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Carter (Dallas, TX). The Cowboys come into the 4A Region II District 11 challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Carter beat Conrad (Dallas, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Kimball Knights (Dallas, TX) in a 4A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Wilmer-Hutchins will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Pinkston (Dallas, TX).
