Texas High School Volleyball - Whitewright over Tom Bean

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Whitewright Tigers (Whitewright, TX) and the host Tom Bean Tomcats (Tom Bean, TX), observed Whitewright's volleyball team top Tom Bean by a tally of 3-0.

The Tigers (23-10) will now prepare for their contest against Collinsville (Collinsville, TX). The Pirates enter the 2A Region II District 10 contest with a 14-16 record.

Next, the Tomcats meet the Tioga Bulldogs (Tioga, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Tom Bean will attempt to upgrade on its 6-21 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 11-20 record after their 3-1 league win over Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX).
