Texas High School Football - Cigarroa crushed by Southwest Legacy

September 27, 2025: Laredo, TX 78046

Southwest Legacy Titans (Von Ormy, TX) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football squad crush the host Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX), 57-18 in a league test.

The Titans now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Nixon for a 5A-1 Region IV District 14 challenge on Friday, October 3. Southwest Legacy will face a Mustangs team coming off a 28-13 league win over South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.

The Toros (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Winn (Eagle Pass, TX). The Mavericks go into the 5A-1 Region IV District 14 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Winn was overwhelmed by Jay (San Antonio, TX), 44-13, in a league test.
