Illinois High School Flag Football - Lake Zurich defeats Waukegan

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Lake Zurich Bears flag football squad scored a good 42-19 victory over the Waukegan Bulldogs.
The Bears (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Sequoits enter the non-league match with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Antioch overcame Freeport (Freeport, IL), 13-12, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Warren Township for a battle on Saturday, September 27. Waukegan will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 20-8 league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-10.
