The Bishop Brossart Mustangs soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ryle for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 30. Bishop Brossart will face a Raiders team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Conner (Hebron, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 9-1.

The Thoroughbreds (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers enter the non-league game with a 6-3 record.
