Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) and the visiting Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), saw Spring Creek's soccer squad knock off Churchill County by a count of 3-0.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians enter the battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Elko West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 1-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Greenwave battle the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 2. Churchill County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Lakers enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 0-0 league South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
