In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Corcoran Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Avenal Buccaneers.
The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Titans enter the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Orange Cove was beaten by Strathmore (Strathmore, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Buccaneers now own a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lindsay for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Avenal will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Woodlake (Woodlake, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-3.
