In Saturday's non-league bout, the Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL) volleyball team held off the host East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL), by a margin of 2-1.
The Patriots now possess a 31-8 record. They play next when they travel to Austin for a bout on Tuesday, September 30. Bob Jones will clash with a Black Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Decatur (Decatur, AL). The Black Bears record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, East Limestone falls to 0-2 on the year.
