Poway Titans (Poway, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Poway improves its record to 4-2 on the season.
The Cougars now own a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Camino for a test on Tuesday, September 30. Escondido will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Valley Center (Valley Center, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
