Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) and the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), saw Fort Hill's soccer squad prevail over Hampshire by a count of 5-1.
The Sentinels (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Calvary Christian Academy (Cresaptown, MD). The enter the non-league battle with a 13-1 record. In their last battle, Calvary Christian Academy tipped Morgantown Christian Academy (Morgantown, WV), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Berkeley Springs Indians (Berkeley Springs, WV) in a Potomac Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 30. Hampshire will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 0-12 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Musselman (Inwood, WV).
