In Saturday's league outing, the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Hermon Hawks.
The Crusaders (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Trojans go into the Class B - North outing with a 3-2 record.
In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) in a Class B - North test, on Wednesday, October 1. Hermon will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Washington Academy (East Machias, ME).
