The Steele Comets triumphed over the host Holy Name Green Wave soccer squad by a margin of 8-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Comets now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Ridgeville for a Southwestern bout on Wednesday, October 1. Steele will play a Rangers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to University School (Hunting Valley, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Holy Name moves to 3-7 on the year. The Green wave host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin 1-1 in their recent non-league game against Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH)
