In Saturday's non-league outing, the host LaVille Lancers soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings.
With the triumph, LaVille advances its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Caston (Fulton, IN) to clash with the Comets in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Comets come into the test with a record of 3-8. Caston lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN)
The Vikings now have a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Mishawaka for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2.
