In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Universal Stars soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the MCC Crescents.

With the triumph, Universal advances its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Stars travel to St. Rita (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, October 6. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-10.

The Crescents now have a 0-7 record.
