Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) and the host Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA), saw Mountain View's soccer squad hold off Old Forge by a count of 2-1.

The Eagles (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gregory The Great Academy (Elmhurst Township, PA). The enter the Lackawanna - Division II battle with a 0-8 record.

Next up, the Blue Devils meet the Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division III match, on Monday, September 29. Old Forge will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the match with a 7-6 record after their 2-1 league win over Elk Lake (Dimock, PA).
