The Simpson Academy Cougars softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Cathedral Green Wave to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.
The Cougars now possess a 27-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Forest Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. Simpson Academy will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-1.
The Green Wave (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 27-6 record. In their last challenge, Simpson Academy overcame Silliman Institute (Clinton, LA), 16-6, in a non-league challenge.
