Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE), 6-3 in a non-league game.

With the win, Ralston betters its record to 18-6 on the season. The Rams host Yutan-Mead (Yutan, NE) to battle the Patriots in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 30. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 17-5. Yutan-Mead lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE)

The Trojans now own a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raymond Central for a non-league outing on Monday, September 29. Platteview will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Douglas County West (Valley, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-11.
