Texas High School Volleyball - Ropes winner over Abernathy

In Saturday's league match, the Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Tahoka Bulldogs (Tahoka, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 battle, on Tuesday, September 30. Ropes will attempt to improve on its 24-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 8-23 record after their 3-0 league loss to Olton (Olton, TX).

The Antelopes now own a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Post for a 2A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, September 30. Abernathy will encounter a Antelopes squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Plains (Plains, TX). The Antelopes record now stands at 12-13.
