Florida High School Volleyball - Anclote can't get by Gulf

The Gulf Buccaneers held off the host Anclote Sharks volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Buccaneers now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Fivay for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Gulf will play a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Gulf (New Port Richey, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Anclote falls to 4-14 on the year. The Sharks host Tarpon Springs (Tarpon Springs, FL) to confront the Spongers in a 4A District 11 game on Thursday, October 2. The Spongers enter the game with a record of 7-5. Tarpon Springs won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL)
