In Saturday's non-league test, the host Axtell Eagles volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Washington County Tigers.
With the win, Axtell improves its record to 10-8 on the season. The Eagles host Doniphan West (Highland, KS) to face the Mustangs in a Twin Valley test on Tuesday, September 30. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 11-9. Doniphan West won 2-0 in their recent league test against Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS)
The Tigers now own a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Heights for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Washington County will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-5.
