In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Barbourville Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Jellico Blue Devils.

The Tigers (15-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Engineers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-16 record. In their last challenge, Estill County was tipped by East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Jellico will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-19 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY).
