In Saturday's non-league match, the Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Beaver Local Beavers (Lisbon, OH), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Jets battle the Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH) in a Pioneer Valley match, on Monday, September 29. Union Local will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Zeps enter the match with a 17-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over River (Hannibal, OH).

The Beavers (15-2) will now prepare for their match against Carrollton (Carrollton, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, Carrollton dropped by Minerva (Minerva, OH), 3-1, in a league battle.
