Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Belmont Cardinals (Belmont, MS) and the host Falkner Eagles (Falkner, MS), saw Belmont's volleyball squad achieve victory over Falkner by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Belmont improves its record to 16-14 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Hatley (Amory, MS) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 13-14. Hatley won 3-1 in their recent league test against Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS)

The Eagles now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jumpertown for a Class 1A Region 1 test on Tuesday, September 30. Falkner will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-16.
