Missouri High School Volleyball - Savannah tips Benton

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Savannah Savages volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Benton Cardinals.

The Savages (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Maryville (Maryville, MO). The Spoofhounds come into the Class 3 District 16 challenge with a 20-6 record. In their last challenge, Maryville edged Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Warrensburg Tigers (Warrensburg, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Benton will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 9-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Odessa (Odessa, MO).
