In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Oklahoma Christian Saints.

The Fighting Irish (22-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 1-19 record. In their last challenge, Putnam City was beaten by Bethany (Bethany, OK), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Saints meet the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves (Edmond, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Oklahoma Christian will attempt to improve on its 19-5 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 16-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK).
