The Bixby Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Edmond Memorial Bulldogs to 1 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now possess a 21-9 record. They play next when they travel to Booker T. Washington for a Frontier outing on Tuesday, September 30. Bixby will play a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Owasso (Owasso, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Edmond Memorial drops to 16-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Edmond North (Edmond, OK) to play the Huskies in a Central Oklahoma outing on Saturday, September 27. The Huskies come into the outing with a record of 17-11. Edmond North won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Victory Christian (Tulsa, OK)
