In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bracken County Polar Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Fleming County Panthers.
The Polar Bears (13-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Saints go into the District 39 test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, St. Patrick achieved victory over Ludlow (Ludlow, KY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powell County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Fleming County will face a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 10-6.
