The Brighton Bulldogs volleyball squad (Brighton, MI), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI)

With the win, Utica Eisenhower improves its record to 18-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 13-3. Traverse City Central lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI)

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Mercy Marlins (Farmington Hills, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 27. Brighton will attempt to move on its 19-4 season record. The Marlins enter the contest with a 15-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over St. Ursula Academy (Toledo, OH).
