Kansas High School Volleyball - De Soto over Ottawa

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the De Soto Wildcats (De Soto, KS) and the host Ottawa Cyclones (Ottawa, KS), observed De Soto's volleyball team top Ottawa by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcats (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Blue Valley Southwest notched a victory over St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Cyclones now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tonganoxie for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. Ottawa will encounter a Chieftains squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS). The Chieftains record now stands at 11-7.
