Louisiana High School Volleyball - Mt. Carmel tips E.D. White

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) and the host E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA), observed Mt. Carmel's volleyball team hold off E.D. White by a count of 2-1.

The Cubs (23-2) will now prepare for their contest against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Terriers enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Vandebilt Catholic got by Assumption (Napoleonville, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 30. E.D. White will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Greenies go into the battle with a 14-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA).
